FM Half Marathon faces chilly forecast
Fargo, ND (October 8, 2009, Fargo Forum) – After hearing Saturday's chilly weather forecast, Mark Knutson experienced deja vu.
"To be honest, I'm having flashbacks to the first marathon," said Knutson, referring to the inaugural Fargo Marathon he helped organize.

New race brings new challenge (10K Race to Fargo Marathon Weekend)
Fargo, ND (September 14, 2009, Fargo Forum) – In case you missed it, the news out of the Fargo Marathon camp late last week shows that the event promises to be bigger and better in 2010.
With just five years under their belt, race organizers plan to add a 10K race during marathon weekend slated May 20-22.

2009 Fargo Marathon donation hits record total
Fargo, ND (August 14, 2009, INFORUM) – The Fargo Marathon gave two more examples of growth on Thursday. It announced a record donation to its charities and said it is moving the 5K race to Friday because of increasing participation.
Mark Knutson, the executive director of Go Far Events that manages the marathon, presented checks totaling $62,000 from Fargo Marathon Inc. and said total charitable giving as a result of the event exceeded $122,000 this year.

Half marathon set for October
FARGO, ND (August 5, 2009; Fargo Forum) – Runners looking for an event-filled day this fall will have plenty of entertainment options this October.
The FM Half Marathon, scheduled for Oct. 10, starts and finishes at the Fargo Civic Center.
Besides the half marathon, 10K and 5K race, sponsors are working on an Octoberfest event at Old Broadway in downtown Fargo.
The North Dakota State football team also plays host to Northern Iowa at 3 p.m. that afternoon in a televised game.
According to Mark Knutson, race organizer and owner of Go Far Events, that will add up to "a lot of excitement."
CasMar develops new name, race - Knutson's company - now Go Far Events - to host half marathon in fall
FARGO, ND (July 10, 2009; Fargo Forum) – Mark Knutson's sports management company has a new name and a new local race.
Go Far Events will put on the F-M Half Marathon this fall, essentially replacing the Bridge-to-Bridge Bash as its fall running race. The Oct. 10 13.1-mile route that will begin and end at the Fargo Civic Center will also have 10K and 5K races.

FARGO, ND (February 18, 2008) – Fargo Marathon, Inc.
announced today that SUBWAY® restaurants is an Official Sponsor
of the 2008 Scheels Fargo Marathon. SUBWAY® restaurants has
approximately 52 stores in eastern North Dakota and northwestern
Minnesota. The 4th Running of the Scheels Fargo Marathon takes
place on May 17, 2008. There are currently over 2,700
participants registered for five different running events held
in conjunction with the Fargo Marathon. The total number of
registrants in 2007 was just over 9,000.
